The Top Five Places In the World I’d Like to Visit
It’s a big world out there, with quite a few sights to see and places to visit; here are five I’d like to get to.
1. Machu Picchu
The mystery of the sacred Incan site, hidden high on a mountain, undiscovered for years, appeals to me. Pictures of it are beautiful, and I want to see it for myself and feel its power.
2. Mount Rushmore
I’ve heard so much about Mount Rushmore, and seen so many pictures, I want to see it for myself. I’m intrigued by a project so large, so historic, and so much a part of U.S. history.
3. Old Faithful
Old Faithful, in Yellowstone National Park, is another place I’ve heard so much about for so long, I have to see it for myself. It’s pretty amazing it’s been erupting like it does for so long.
4. Sequoia National Forest
In the forest, there are 33 groves of sequoia trees some of them bigger than 35 feet in diameter and 250 feet tall. I want to be awed by their beauty and size.
5. Carlsbad Caverns
Carlsbad Cavern is just one of 110 limestone caves in Carlsbad Caverns National Park. I’ve never been in a cave, and would like to, so this one, so famous and well-preserved, would be a good place to start.
I could make about 10 more lists like this one; there are so many things to do and places to visit.
